Dead youngster spotted in flaming car near NJ high school.

A youngster was discovered dead inside a vehicle that had been set on fire close to a high school in New Jersey, and a man has been charged with arson, according to the authorities on Friday.

Around 10:45 p.m. on Thursday, the police were initially notified by a 911 call about a fire that was occurring close to Sayreville High School. An further call came in reporting a domestic incident that was related to the one they were responding to.

As the police arrived on Eisenhower Drive, they came across a woman who stated that Manuel Rivera, 43, had left the house with their son as a result of a disagreement that occurred inside the family.

According to the authorities, Rivera was discovered alive along Washington Road, close to the back of Sayreville High School. However, he had burns all over his body and self-inflicted wounds, according to the authorities. Next to him was a burning automobile that had been sprayed with gasoline until it caught fire.

Rivera received medical attention for his wounds after being transported to a hospital. A preliminary inquiry found the body of a youngster inside the vehicle that had been completely destroyed by fire.

The body has not yet been positively recognized as belonging to the nine-year-old by the prosecutor's office at this time. A accusation of aggravated arson in the second degree has been brought against Rivera.

After the postmortem report from the Middlesex County medical examiner's office is received, additional charges will be filed against the suspect.
