I put my career on wait for a considerable amount of time in order to remain in close proximity to my ex-boyfriend Gerard (Pique), so that he could participate in football.According to a recent interview that Shakira gave to The Sunday Times, "There was a lot of sacrifice for love."..

Shakira is joined by a parade of guests on her album, which features sixteen tracks, including the Bizarrap collaboration "Bzrp Music Sessions Vol. 53." Cardi B, Ozuna, Rauw Alejandro, Grupo Frontera, Karol G, and Fuerza Regida are among the artists who take part in the collaboration.

According to Melissa Ruggieri, a music writer for USA TODAY, the opening tune "Punteria," which features Shakira's duet with Cardi B, stand out as the album's most notable track.

Over the course of a persistent dancefloor beat, the bilingual song, which can be loosely translated as "takes aim," alternates between Shakira singing about being captivated even when everything wrong feels good and Cardi B rapping in a manner that is characteristic of her.

They are a formidable combo, and the song establishes the mood for an album that naturally transitions from pulsating Latin rhythms to penetrating ballads, all while honoring the empowerment of women.
