Trump posts footage showing Biden chained to a pickup vehicle.

Former President Donald Trump posted a video Friday showing President Joe Biden chained and restrained in a pickup vehicle.

The 20-second video, which Trump said was filmed Thursday in Long Island, New York, shows a vehicle with "Trump 2024" and a giant picture of Biden tied up and lying on his side.

Trump campaign spokeswoman Steven Cheung claimed, "That picture was on the back of a pick up truck that was traveling down the highway." Cheung said "Democrats and crazed lunatics" want violence against Trump and his family, "they are actually weaponizing the justice system against him."

Biden said in 2018, before he ran for office, that he would "take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him" if he heard Trump denigrating women. Biden campaign spokesperson Michael Tyler criticized Trump for sharing the video.

"This image from Donald Trump is the type of crap you post when you’re calling for a bloodbath or when you tell the Proud Boys to ‘stand back and stand by,'" Tyler stated in a post. "Trump is regularly inciting political violence and it’s time people take him seriously — just ask the Capitol Police officers who were attacked protecting our democracy on January 6." Trump employed violent imagery and speech in his 2024 presidential campaign and before.

He threatened a “bloodbath” if he was not re-elected on March 16 while discussing the economy. Trump warned of "potential death and destruction" if prosecuted in the Manhattan district attorney's hush money case last year before his many charges.

His Truth Social post showed him with a baseball bat near Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's head. The post vanished.

Trump recently utilized Truth Social to attack Judge Juan Merchan, who is hearing the hush money case, and his daughter after a partial gag order.

Trump faces four felony indictments for election interference, mishandling classified materials, and hush money business record falsification. Pleaded not guilty to all allegations.
